2016 Tryouts

Tryouts for the 2016 Patterson Mill High School Boys Soccer Team:   There will be a mandatory concussion testing session for all boys trying out for the team.  This will take place on Monday, Aug. 8th from 9:00 to 10:00 in the high school media center.  The concussion make-up test will be on Monday, Aug. 15th at 8:00 in the media center. The tryout schedule for the remaining week will be WEDNESDAY (7:30 to 10:15), THURSDAY (7:30 to 10:15), and FRIDAY (7:30 to 10:15).  All tryouts are held at PMHS soccer fields (next to the tennis courts).  Times for the next week will be Varsity Monday through Friday from 8:00 to 10:30. 

Before you are able to tryout, you need to have a (1) completed physical form, (2) a completed athletic participation form, and (3) signed HCPS rules form. The forms are in the PMHS Sports folder located in the high school office, and also available on Edline-Athletics.

 

REGIONAL CHAMPS!!!!
Powered by goals from 6 different players, the Huskies captured the 1A North Regional Title by defeating McDonough 6-0.   Tom Kraus, Larsen Green, Jake Lapinsky, Noah Holloway, Cameron Neumann and Josh Turing all provided goals while Chris Giba made 6 saves in goal.  Green added 2 assists, while Lapinsky, Kyle Goudy and Rob Gentry each added 1.  Way to go guys!!

 

Huskies Advance in Playoffs
Senior Larsen Green scored 2 goals and had 1 assist as the Huskies defeated Perryville by the score of 7-0. Kyle McCollum, Kyle Goudy, Cameron Neumann, Dean Gonzalez and Ryan Chaney each added 1 goal while Dan Czajkowski and Chris Jones tallied 2 assists and Rudy Beck had 1.  Chris Giba made 5 saves in goal for the win.  The Huskies will host Havre de Grace in the sectional final on Thursday at 6:00.

 

Led by Seniors, Huskies Win on Senior Night
The Patterson Mill Huskies defeated Havre de Grace on Senior Night by the score of 3-1. Senior Dalton Kraus tied the game at 1 with just over 15 minutes left in the game.  Senior Larsen Green then scored the game winner and senior Jake Lapinsky added an insurance goal a few minutes later.  Senior Justin Duvall assisted on the game winning goal and senior Chris Giba recorded 5 saves in goal. Congrats Huskies and seniors!

 

Larsen Green Becomes All Time Goal Scoring Leader

With his 3 goal performance vs Aberdeen, senior Larsen Green becomes Patterson Mills all time leading goal scorer with 36 career goals.  Green passed Kyle Walczak (2012) who had been the Huskies leading goal scorer over the past 3 years.

Playing on a wet & rainy field, senior captain Larsen Green recorded a hat trick and Kyle Goudy, Adam Caretti, Rob Gentry and Dan Czajkowski each scored once. Larsen Green (2) Jake Lapinsky, Rudy Beck, Noah Holloway and Chris Giba all earned assists.  Giba also made 7 saves in goal.

Huskies Fall to North Harford 2-1 in OT

The Huskies took a 1-0 lead (on a goal by Rudy Beck) into the final 5 minutes, however the Hawks of North Harford tied the game and eventually won 2-1 in overtime.  Great match and effort Huskies!

The Huskies defeated North East 9-0 led by Larsen Green who recorded 3 goals and 2 assists.  Other goal scorers for the Huskies included Noah Holloway, Kyle McCollum, Jake Lapinsky, Chris Jones, Kyle Goudy and Cameron Neumann.  Assists were earned by Jones, Goudy, Lapinsky, and Josh Turing.  Chris Giba recorded 2 saves in goal.

Patterson Mill Opens With Win

Patterson Mill boys soccer opened their season with a win vs Harford Tech by the score of 5-0.  The Huskies were led by Cameron Neumann with 2 goals and also by Larsen Green, Tom Kraus and Kyle McCollum who each had 1.  Jake Lapinsky recorded 2 assists and Green had 1.  Chris Giba earned the win in goal for the Huskies.
