Patterson Mill Opens Regional Playoffs with
Win
The Huskies opened their playoffs with a win vs
Rising Sun on Friday night by a score of 6-0. Tyler Moen led the
offensive with 2 goals while Connor Neumann added a goal and an
assist. Other goal scorers were Nick Roney, Aaron Childs,
and Rick Snyder. Colin Carroll contributed with 2 assists,
and Tony Roney, Phil McDonald, and Alex Littlepage each had 1.
Senior goalie Brady Morton made 4 saves for the win. The
Huskies next game is Tuesday at 6:00 vs North East (home).
Husky Win on Senior Night
The Huskies handed C Milton Wright their only
Chesapeake Division loss on Tuesday night by a score of 2-0.
Kyle Walczak led Patterson Mill scoring both goals on assists by
fellow seniors Aaron Childs and Tyler Moen. Brady Morton
made 7 saves for the shutout win, while the defense of Tom
Trecziak, Brandon Ortiz, Geoff Huebel, and Nick Roney played
outstanding for the full 80 minutes. This marks the first
time in the programs history that the Huskies have defeated C
Milton. Way to go guys!
Patterson Mill Boys Drop a 3-2 Decision vs
Aberdeen
The Patterson Mill Boys Soccer team lost their second
1 goal game in a row losing to Aberdeen 3-2. The huskies
took a 1-0 lead on a goal by Alex Embres, assisted by Kyle
Walczak. The Eagles answered with 3 straight before Walzcak
scored the 2nd goal for the huskies on an assist by Brandon
Ortiz. Brady Morton made 5 saves in goal while Ian Dowding
recorded 4. The huskies return to action Friday night
(Oct. 14th) to face Old Mill High School.

Huskies Improve to 5-2 with a Win over Rising
Sun
The Patterson Mill Boys Soccer team improved their
record to 5-2 with a win over the Tigers of Rising Sun by a
score of 2-0. Tyler Moen opened the scoring with a goal
off of an Aaron Childs throw, and Kyle Walczak scored his team
leading 6th goal of the year, assisted again by Childs, to make
it 2-0. Brady Morton recorded 6 saves for the shutout win.
The Huskies host the Bobcats of Bel Air this Friday night at
6:45.

Huskies Win Their 4th in a Row
The Patterson Mill Boys Soccer team won their 4th
game in a row defeating North Harford 2-1. Kyle Walzcak
starting the scoring in the first half to give the Huskies a 1-0
lead. After the Hawks of North Harford tied the score at
1, Alex Embres headed in the winning goal with 1 minute left to
play - off an assist by Phil McDonald. Brady Morton
recorded 8 saves in goal for the win. Way to go Huskies!

Huskies improve their record to 3-1 with the victory.
Patterson Mill Wins 2 in a Row
Both the Varsity & JV squads each won two games
last week vs Havre de Grace and Edgewood. The Varsity boys defeated Havre
de Grace by a score of 3-0 and Edgweood 9-0. Both JV wins came by the score of
5-0. Way to go guys and keep up the hard work.

Patterson Mill Drops Opener to John Carroll
2-1 in 2OT
Patterson Mill opened their season vs MIAA-A
competitor John Carroll and dropped a 2-1 decision in double overtime.
After a strong 60 minutes which saw the Huskies take a 1-0 lead on a goal by
senior Kyle Walczak (assisted by Ian Bollinger) the Patriots battled back to tie
the game at 1. Midway through the 2nd overtime session, John Carroll
scored off a corner kick to take the win by a score of 2-1. The Huskies
face Havre de Grace on Wednesday, Sept. 7th at Patterson Mill. The JV Huskies
defeated John Carroll by a score of 3-1 with goals coming from Colin Pabst, Tom
O'Neil, and Caleb Hebb.
