Huskies Open Playoffs with 5-1 Win

The Patterson Mill boys soccer team opened their playoffs with a 5-1 home win vs Bo Manor. Goals were scored by Will Pappageorgopolous, Joe Cicenia, Tom Kraus, Rob Gentry, and Ryan Greezicki.  Rudy Beck had 2 assists, while Will and Cameron Neumann each had 1.  Goal Keeper Ryan Jeon made 4 saves and Scott Meyler also made 4. .

The Husky offense was on fire vs Rising Sun as they tallied 10 goals on the night. Andrew Papageorgopoulos, Cameron Neumann, and Joe Cicenia each had 2 goals while Dean Gonzalez, Rob Gentry, Ryan Greezicki and Josh Turing each had 1 goal.  Ryan Greezicki and Andrew Papageorgopoulos each recorded 2 assists and Matt Berger, Rob Gentry, Joe Cicenia, Cameron Neumann and Adam Antonakos each had 1.  Goal Keeper Ryan Jeon made 3 saves in goal while Scott Meyler recorded 5 saves.

Despite out shooting the Hawks, the Patterson Mill boys soccer team ended the game with a 0-0 draw after 2 scorless overtime periods. Goal keeper Ryan Jeon made 8 saves to secure the shutout while the Hawks keeper fought off numerous good scoring chances by the Huskies.

Huskies Earn First Win

PThe Huskies earned their first win of the season by defeating Winters Mill by the score of 5-4. After going down 0-3, the Husky offense came to life and scored 3 goals in 15 minutes. Sophomore Joe Cecinia scored the first goal, followed by Rudy Beck and Ryan Greezicki goals. Tom Kraus added the 4th and sophomore Nate Hollar scored the game winner. Rob Gentry added 2 assists, while Matt Funk, Rudy Beck and Matt Berger each had 1. Junior Goal Keeper Ryen Jeon made 9 saves for the win. Congrats guys!
