Patterson Mill Wins 1st Ever State Title

The Patterson Mill Huskies won the schools first ever boys soccer state title by defeating Loch Raven 3-0. Zach Hebb was the hero for the Huskies as he started the scoring with a diving header to make it 1-0, assisted by Eric Neutzling. Andrew Papageorgopoulos scored the 2nd goal unassisted and Hebb then assisted sophomore Christian Shertzers 3rd goal.  Goal Keeper Zack Fenlock backed up his state semi-final shutout with 3 saves in goal for the shutout win. Way to go guys!  

Patterson Mill Will Return to State Title Game

The Patterson Mill Huskies (13-3) advanced to the state title game by defeating Mountain Ridge (13-3-1) by the score of 5-0. Sophomore Michal Gradus led the way with 3 goals and 1 assist while senior Joe Cicenia scored the other 2 goals and added 2 assists. Isaac Rich and Travis Karwatka each assisted one goal and goal Keeper Zack Fenlock made 6 saves in goal. The Huskies will face Loch Raven in the title game this Saturday at Loyola College.

Patterson Mill Wins 4th Straight Regional Title

The Patterson Mill Huskies captured their 4th straight Regional Championship by the score of 3-1.  The Huskies were led by Michal Gradus who scored 1 goal and had 2 assists.  Other goals were scored by Joe Cicenia and Isaac Rich and assists were earned by Matt Funk.   Goal Keeper Zack Fenlock made 6 saves in goal.  



Patterson Mill to play in the Regional Finals after 8-1 Win

Patterson Mill advanced to the Regional Finals where they will face Crisfield High School. On Thursday night the Huskies faced Joppatowne High School and came away with an 8-1 win. The Huskies were led by Joe Cicenia who had 3 goals, while Christian Shertzer had 1 goal and 2 assists.  Andrew Pappageorgopoulos had 1 goal and 2 assists and Isaac Rich had 1 goal and 1 assist.  Ryan Greezicki and Sean Wehmer each had 1 goal and Matt Funk and Robby March each had 1 assist.  Goal Keepers Zack Fenlock and Ian Sauer each played in goal for the Huskies.  

Huskies Advanced Past 2nd Round of Playoffs

Patterson Mill earned win number 10 by defeating Colonel Richardson 6-0 in the 2nd round of the playoffs. The Huskies were led by Michal Gradus who had 2 goals and 1 assist and Joe Cicenia who also scored 2. Other goal scorers were Chris Marin-Lopez and Anthony Sulinski. Assists were earned by Matt Funk, Mike Noya, Isaac Rich, Christian Shertzer, and Paul Kim. Goal Keeper Zack Fenlock finished with 6 saves and Ian Sauer had 1.



Huskies Beat Fallston 7-4 for 9th Straight Win

Patterson Mill won their 9th straight by defeating Fallston for the first time in school history 7-4. After a sluggish start, the Huskies were down 2-0 before Michal Gradus scored the first of his 3 goals to cut the lead to 2-1 before half. The Huskies then outscored the cougars 6-2 in the second for a 7-4 win. Michal Gradus finished the game with 3 goals and 2 assists, while Andrew Papageorgopoulos scored 2 and Joe Cicenia & Ryan Greezicki each scored 1. Assists were tallied by Eric Neutzling, Travis Karwatka, Christian Shertzer, and Ethan Shultz. Goal Keeper Zack Fenlock made 6 saves.

 

Huskies Win on Senior Night 6-1 vs Aberdeen

Patterson Mill won their 8th game on senior night by the score of 6-1. Joe Cicenia scored 2 more goals for the Huskies while Michal Gradus, Matt Funk, Ryan Greezicki and Christian Shertzer each scored 1. Andrew Papageorgopoulos had 2 assists and Isaac Rich, Travis Karwatka, Eric Neutzling, and Michal Gradus each tallied 1. Goal Keepers Zack Fenlock and Ian Sauer both played in goal for the win. The Huskies record now stands at 8-2.


Patterson Mill defeats Elkton 7-1

After giving up an early goal, the Huskies settled down and came away with their 7th win in a row by a score of 7-1. The Huskies were led by Andrew Papageorgopoulos who had 2 goals and 3 assists, and Michal Gradus who scored 2. Joe Cicenia had 1 goal and 1 assist and Isaac Rich and Christian Shertzer each scored 1. Ethan Shultz assisted on 2 goals while Matt Funk did so on one. Goal Keeper Ian Sauer made 4 saves in the

 

Patterson Mill wins 6th by defeating Winters Mill 2-0

Patterson Mill won thier 6th game in a row Monday night by beating Winters Mill on the road, 2-0. Joe Cicenia scored both goals for the Huskies while Michal Gradus and Isaac Rich each assisted on one. Goal keeper Zack Fenlock made a season high 11 saves to earn the shutout win. The Huskies record now stands at 6-2.


Huskies Knock off #12 ranked Bel Air 3-2 in OT

Patterson Mill beat Bel Air for only the 2nd time in school history on Friday night 3-2 in OT. Senior Joe Cicenia scored the game winner on an assist by Andrew Papageorgopoulos. Andrew and sophomore Michal Gradus had the 2 goals in regulation as the Huskies took a 2-0 first half lead. Senior goal keeper Zack Fenlock made 9 saves to preserve the win.

 

Patterson Mill defeats North Harford 4-2

The Huskies played through the driving rain and won their 4th straight by defeating North Harford 4-2. Michal Gradus, Joe Cicenia, Andrew Papageorgopoulos and Alair Lewis each scored while Isaac Rich, Joe, Andrew and Matt Funk each were credit with assists. Goal Keeper Ian Sauer made 6 saves in the win.



Huskies win 3rd in a row with 5-1 at Harford Tech

The Huskies traveled to Harford Tech Friday night and earned a 5-1 win. Sophomore Michal Gradus led the way scoring the first 2 goals of the game, while single goals were scored by Andrew Papageorgopoulos, Kevin Dyke, and Paul Kim. Assists were earned by Isaac Rich, Ryan Greezicki, Travis Karwatka, Matt Gallagher and Matt Funk. Senior goal keeper Zack Fenlock made 7 saves in goal.

On Friday night, Patterson Mill defeating the visiting Rams from Edgewood 8-0. Senior Andrew Papageorgopoulos scored 5 goals and added an assist to lead the attack. Matt Funk, Ethan Shutlz and Michal Gradus each added a goal. Joe Cicenia assisted on 4 goals, while Mike Noya added 2. Ian Sauer recorded 6 saves in goal and fellow freshman keeper Ryan Frankis made 1.



Huskies Earn first win vs Havre de Grace 9-0

The Huskies traveled to Havre de Grace Thursday and came away with a 9-0 victory. Senior captain Ryan Greezicki led all scorers with 4 goals while Isaac Rich added 2 and Michal Gradus chipped in with 1 goal and 2 assists. Kevin Dyke and Paul Kim each scored once and Joe Cicenia tallied 3 assists. Also earning assists were Zach Hebb, Brendan Bloss, Alair Lewis, and Sean Wehmer. Freshman keepers Ian Sauer and Ryan Frankis each played 1/2 in goal for the win.

 

Huskies Drop a Tough Game vs Towson 2-4

Despite outshooting their opponent, the Huskies lost 4-2 on Wednesday night in their season opener. The Huskies jumped out to a 1-0 lead on a goal by Joe Cicenia. Sophomore Michal Gradus scored the 2nd goal for PMHS assisted by Cicenia. Goal Keepers Zack Fenlock (4 saves) and Ian Sauer (5 saves) split time in goal for the Huskies.
