Huskies 5 Time Regional Champions!

Patterson Mill won their 5th straight regional title Tuesday night by defeating Pikesville HS 2-1. Alair Lewis scored the games opening goal assisted by Eric Neutzling to stake the Huskies to a1-0 lead. Later in the 2nd half, senior Ethan Shultz scored on a bicycle kick, assisted by Christian Shertzer, to give the Huskies a 2-0 lead. Despite a Pikesville goal, Ian Sauer made 4 saves in goal to preserver the win and regional title.


Patterson Mill Advanced to Regional Finals

The Huskies won their 2nd playoff game on Friday night be defeating Western Tech 5-0. Senior Alair Lewis scored the first two goals of the game while Reggie King, Ethan Shultz and Kyle Luddy each added 1. Assists were tallied by Cameron Dawson, Jake Bechtel, Travis Karwatka and Aidan McCully. Goal Keeper Ian Sauer made 1 save in goal.

 

Huskies Open Playoffs with a 5-0 Win vs Joppatowne

The Huskies began their state title defense with an opening round win vs Joppatowne High School 5-0. Senior captain Eric Neutzling starting the scoring with a first half goal to stake PMill to a 1-0 lead they wouldn't give up. Other Husky goal scorers were Christian Shertzer, Alair Lewis, Brian Pickard and Dylan Gough. Assists were tallied by Kyle Luddy, Reggie King, Ethan Shultz, Adam Hanzelik and Brian Pickard. Goal keepers Ryan Frankis and Ian Sauer both tended goal in the game. The Huskies now face Western Tech in round 2.



Patterson Mill Upsets #7 Ranked Eastern Tech 3-2

In the final regular season game, the Patterson Mill Huskies beat Eastern Tech H.S. 3-2. Goal Scorers for the Huskies were Christian Shertzer, Reggie King, and Alair Lewis (game winner). Assists were earned by Ethan Shultz, Travis Karwatka and Shertzer. Both goal keepers Ian Sauer and Ryan Frankis played a half in goal. The Huskies open their playoff schedule on Wednesday, at 5:00 vs Joppatowne (at Joppatowne).


Huskies Fall to #11 C Milton Wright 3-1

The Huskies allowed a goal in the final 40 seconds of the first half to go into half time down 3-1 to the visiting Mustangs. Neither Patterson Mill or CMW were able to score in the 2nd half so the final remained 3-1 Mustangs. After going down 1-0, sophomore Cam Dawson scored the equalizer off an assist by Christian Shertzer. Goal Keeper Ian Sauer made 7 saves for the Huskies.



Patterson Mill Beats Fallston 5-2

The Huskies scored 3 goals in the first 5 minutes of Thursday's game vs Fallston and came away with a 5-2 victory on a game that was televised on HCN TV. Cameron Dawson opened the scoring for the Huskies followed by Christian Shertzer and Dylan Gough. Travis Karwatka scored the next 2 PMill goals on free kicks and Ian Sauer and Ryan Frankis both played keeper for the Huskies. Assists were earned by Karwatka, Gough, Thomas Niblock, Ethan Shultz and Jake Bechtel.

 

Huskies lose 3rd One Goal Game in a Row

Patterson Mill dropped their 3rd 1 goal game in row on Friday losing to Aberdeen 3-2. Despite out shooting the their opponent, Aberdeen was able to put in a goal with 7 minutes left in the game to secure the 3-2 win. Ethan Shultz opened up the scoring on an assist by Sean Sweeney. Following an Aberdeen goal, Thomas Niblock put the Huskies back on top with a goal assisted by Bryce Hoffmaster. Ian Sauer recorded 5 saves in goal for the Huskies.



Patterson Mill Loses on a Late Goal to Century 2-1

The Huskies led 1-0 vs Carroll County powerhouse Century HS but couldn't hold on as the Huskies dropped a 2-1 game on 2 2nd half goals. Christian Shertzer opened the scoring with a nice goal assisted by Dylan Gough. The game remained 1-0 at half before 2 century goals in the final 15 minutes. Goal Keeper Ryan Frankis made 6 saves for the Huskies.

The Huskies traveld to North East and came away with a 9-0 win. Ethan Shultz led the way with 3 goals while Isaac Rich, Travis Karwatka, Reggie King, Dylan Gough, Thomas Niblock and Mason Gough each scored one. Assists were earned by Travis, Regie, Dylan, Thomas, Mason and Brendan Gajewski. Goal Keepers Ian Sauer and Ryan Frankis each made saves in the game. The Huskies record now stands at 3-2.



Patterson Mill drops close game vs Winters Mill 0-2

Despite a strong 2nd half, the Huskies were unable to capitalize on any of their chance and fell to Winters Mill by the score of 2-0. Winters Mill led 1-0 at half time and added a 2nd goal before the end. Patterson Mill travels to North East on Thursday for a 5:15 game time.



Huskies win both tournament games on Saturday

The Huskies went to Perryville High School on Saturday and came away with 2 wins. In the first game, the Huskies defeated West Nottingham HS 9-0 and then defeated Perryville HS 6-0. For the day, Ethan Shultz, Dylan Gough, and Thomas Niblock each scored 2 goals while Aidan McCully, Isaac Rich, Cameron Dawson, Reggie King, Eric Neutzling, Alair Lewis, Robby March, Mason Gough, and Christian Shertzer each scored one. Isaac Rich tallied 3 assists while Cameron Dawson earned 2. Goal Keepers Ryan Frankis and Ian Sauer each earned a shutout win on the day.



Patterson Mill Falls 2-1 to #14th Ranked Towson

On Friday night, the Huskies lost a tough game 2-1 to the Towson Genreals. The Hukies had numerous quality chances to tie late in the 2nd half but couldn't find the back of the net. Senior Aidan McCully scored the lone goal for Patterson Mill assisted by Eric Neutzling. Sophomore keepers Ian Sauer and Ryan Frankis both tended goal for the Huskies.
